Lactation Consultations

  • Initial Home Visit

    $300 (~2 hrs)

    Visits cover:

    • Assessment of latch, feeding, supply

    • Weighing baby/babies before and after breastfeeding sessions (will bring scale)

    • Overview of current lactation challenges, questions, concerns (ie, sore/damaged nipples, milk supply concerns, pain during nursing/pumping, latching issues, feeding-related emotional concerns, introducing a bottle, supplementation concerns, introducing solids, weaning, and more!)

    • Exploring feeding positions/bottle feeding techniques

    • Examination of baby’s oral and physical function

    • Guidance/instruction on overcoming specific challenges and establishing a sound feeding plan

    • Referrals to other providers as needed

    • Review of soothing techniques and sleep strategies that can impact the well being of the whole family

    • 1 week of follow up support by text/email/phone to answer any questions.

  • Follow Up Home Visit

    $200 (~1.5 hrs)

    Visits cover:

    • Review of any updates since establishing the previous feeding plan

    • Reassessment of latch, feeding, supply

    • Weighing baby/babies before and after breastfeeding sessions (will bring scale)

    • Continued guidance on persistent lactation challenges, questions, concerns (ie, sore/damaged nipples, milk supply concerns, pain during nursing/pumping, latching issues, feeding-related emotional concerns, introducing a bottle, supplementation concerns, introducing solids, weaning, and more!)

    • Exploring feeding positions/bottle feeding techniques

    • Reexamination of baby’s oral and physical function

    • Updated guidance/instruction on overcoming specific challenges and establishing a sound feeding plan

    • Referrals to other providers as needed

    • Review of soothing techniques and sleep strategies that can impact the well being of the whole family

    • 1 week of follow up support by text/email/phone to answer any questions.

    $150 (~1.25 hrs)

    Sessions cover:

    • Virtual assessment of latch, feeding, supply

    • Overview of current lactation challenges, questions, concerns (ie, sore/damaged nipples, milk supply concerns, pain during nursing/pumping, latching issues, feeding-related emotional concerns, introducing a bottle, supplementation concerns, introducing solids, weaning, and more!)

    Sessions cover:

    • Lactation education

    • Sharing of resources

    • Customized preparation for the lactation process

  • Yes, I bring a scale at all home visits.

  • I serve clients in Manhattan. Visits outside Manhattan will incur an extra travel fee.

  • At this time I am an out of network provider. I will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed by your insurance, please check with your provider for more information on that.

    Fees shown are due at the time of the visit.

  • Yes, I am available for communication through the client portal for 1 week after a visit/consult.
